Cub Scout Pack 36 Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby has been an annual event for Cub Scouts as long as I can remember. This was the first annual Pinewood Derby held at the Christian Community Life Center. The actual event was held on Friday, January 23, 2009. A week earlier on Saturday, January 16, the Cub Scouts and parents assembled at Cubmaster Misty Gipson's house to work on their cars and make a few practice runs on the track. John Gipson helped with the making of the cars and provided the track that was used for the actual derby.
