Easter Sunrise Service

Our Youth

At 7:00 AM an Easter Sunrise service was held at Caney Creek Park next to the pond and water fountain. The whole community was invited through ads in both the Jasper Newsboy and the Newton County News. The service was sponsored by First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, and Crossroads Church. After the service donuts (courtesy of Brookshire Brothers) and coffee were served. The dress was very informal so people attend with little or no preparation. The service was over before 8:00 AM so everyone had plenty of time to get ready for their own churches.
