Every year the Eastern Horizon region of the Girl Scouts of America has a banquet at the end of the school year. This year our own Newton Girl Scout Troop 6008 hosted the event at the Newton Middle School on May 23, 2009. The theme for the event was Pajama Party. Besides lots of fun, games, and snacks, the girls received awards that they earned this year. Our own troop received their award patches attached to a pillow!
