First United Methodist Church is graced by the presence of Girl Scout Troop 6008 that meets at the Christian Community Life Center 1st and 3rd Thursday nights at 5:30 PM. Anyone who is interested in joining the troop is invited to attend a meeting.

| March 9, 2008, was Girl Scout Green Day. The troop participated in the worship service. They started the service by posting the colors and reciting the Girl Scout Promise. They served as Acolytes, ushers, and greeters. After the service they sold Girl Scout Cookies in the foyer of the church building. We are proud of our Girl Scouts! | ||

On Thursday evening at 6:30 PM, Girl Scout leaders from the San Jacinto Council met in the Christian Community Life Center. |
