Last year, trick or treat, was a disaster in Newton. Not only were we still recovering from Rita, but it rained on trick or treat night so heavily that we only had 6 trick or treaters at the parsonage ... the whole night! That number compared to 2004's 220 trick or treaters is pretty dismal. We made up for 2005 in a big way this year. We had 260 trick or treaters this year pay a visit to the parsonage! They came in pickup trucks, on flat bed trucks, in SUV's, and on foot. It was a beautiful evening, and the kids were so cute, that I could not help but shoot a few pictures. There is something precious about little kids in costumes.
