Youth Lock-in August 24-25, 2007 |
|
| After having a ministry program for the younger set from kindergarten through 6th grade, it seemed appropriate to have something for the 6th through 12th grade age group. The church sponsored a youth lock-in the night of August 24-25. Youth workers included Claudia Presley, Kathleen McCorquodale, and Joe and Kathy Miller. Jim and Linda Will came in at 6 AM to provide a hot breakfast for the kids and tired counselors. Although sleeping arrangments were made, no one slept the entire night. |

| I do not think the kids know that we used to play this many years ago, and we called it musical chairs. They probably think that they invented it! | ||

| One of the "Games" was the preparation of a sickening, sweet drink to see if anyone would drink it to see who got sick first. Jamey drank two of them and did not die on the spot or even get sick! | ||

Eric does not even want to see the drink being concocted. |
