This particular project is located in Newton. The new house is being built behind a mobile home that is really unlivable due to Rita damage. The project materials are being funded by DETCOG and Self Help Housing of East Texas. This project is being done by the MDS group at the RV center at First United Methodist Church. |

| On Tuesday, October 28, The walls and interior framing were being built. Note some young faces among the workers. 6 young men from Indiana joined the two team working and the progress is a result of their experience and hard work. | ||

The very next day a lot of progress was made. The outside walls were complete, interior framing done, and the trusses were starting to go up. |

On Friday, October 31, 2008, the trusses are all in place, and the roofing is well under way. This was the last day for our Indiana crew. They sure did accomplish a lot. |
