This particular project is located in Bon Weir. The new house is being built in front of mobile home that is really unlivable due to Rita damage. The project materials are being funded by DETCOG and Self Help Housing of East Texas. This project is being done by the MDS group at the East Texas Baptist Encampment. The new owner is the Lester Samuels, Jr., family. |

| By Wednesday, October 29, a great deal of progress had been made on this project. The outside walls were completed, inside framing was nearly done,the trusses for the roof were up, and the roofing was being installed. You may notice some young faces in the pictures. 6 young men from Indiana were working this week, and they really knew what they were doing, and they did it hard and fast! | ||
