This particular project is located in Wiergate. The roof was replaced by MDS last year. This year MDS replaced the front porch, jacked up and leveled the house, and replaced the bathroom. |

| The following pictures were taken on February 10, 2009, as the project was just getting off the ground. The group this week was from Normal, Illinois and surrounding areas. The group consisted of member of the Mennonite Church of Normal and friends from surrounding churches. The pastor was part of the group of volunteers. Normal is in the middle of Illinois corn country, producers of abundant and delicious sweet corn. | ||

Can this be the same house? Just two days later on February 12, 2009, the foundation was fixed, the new porch was nearly completed, and sheetrock was being installed in the new bathroom! |
