Salvation Army Bell Ringers!
December 2009

Most of us have seen the Salvation Army Bell Ringers on the television or in person. This year Newton High School students are ringing the bell and collecting money for the local Salvation Army. All proceeds will be used by the Salvation Army for providing assistance in Newton County. Every penny collected will stay in Newton County, and every penny will go to assist people. There are no administration costs or salaries being paid. All of the work collecting and distributing aid is being done by volunteers. |

The bell ringers were present Monday through Thursday, December 7-10, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The following pictures were taken on December 9th. |

On Wednesday, December 16, 2009, two more bell ringers were bringing in the money for the Salvation Army in Newton. |
