Seabrook United Methodist Church Comes to Newton, Texas

| Seabrook United Methodist Church
brought a youth group to Newton for a weekend visit. They arrived on Friday
night and left on Sunday morning after the worship service. During their
stay they were very busy: on Saturday morning and early afternoon they
rejuvenated the two flower beds in front of the Sheriff's office in the
courthouse square; that afternoon they practiced for the youth rally that
they hosted later on that evening; they hosted a youth rally from 6 to 8 PM
along with games, food, music, and a message; Sunday morning they did the
worship service. A busy and fruitful weekend, and they had fun! The following pictures are of the arrival, preparation for bed time on the hard concrete floor, the work in the garden, the youth rally, and a group picture after the worship service on Sunday. |
