Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. If you do not believe it, just ask the kids at Newton Elementary School. On December 12, 2008, Santa took time from his busy schedule to visit the school and talk to the kids. About 430 kids came to see Santa. Unfortunately, we cannot show all the pictures here, but the following is a sample. Since it was warm out, Santa could not bring his sleigh and reindeer so he arrived on an East Texas log truck. There were kids of all sizes and ages who came to sit on Santa's lap or stand next to him if they were too big!
