Angel Tree 2009

Each  Christmas the church collects information on children who might not receive anything for Christmas. This year the information was obtained through the cooperative Holiday Assistance Program consisting of the County Extension Office, Newton Aid, Volunteer Fire Departments from Deweyville and Newton, and The Newton Independent School System. This year gifts were also obtained for senior adults. These gifts were distributed in the local areas such as Bon Weir, Bleakwood, Deweyville, etc. Families were also furnished food through Newton Food Share and the Holiday Assistance Program
