Day Camp 2007 

The Theme was NASCAR racing, and the mission was kids!

The following information was spread throughout the community:

Children’s Summer Day Camp@The Christian Community Life Center

Friday August 17th from 4 pm to 8 pm

and

Saturday August 18th from 10 am to 6 pm

There will be fun high energy games, water games, creative bible stories, unique crafts, and just all around fun!  For ages 5 to 12 years of age. Meals and snacks will be provided for the kids on Friday and Saturday.  Saturday evening the families of children attending summer camp are invited to a free family meal starting at 5pm. The Christian Community Life Center (CCLC) is Located in downtown Newton between First United Methodist Church and the library. The event is put on jointly by Newton Community Church and First  United Methodist Church.

A lot of people got the news, and we were blessed with 72 children over the two day period. It was a wonderful time, and the lives of our children were impacted in very positive ways.
