The Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt, April 11, 1009. This was a new program under leadership of Lion Margie Herrin with help from fellow Lions. Doris Shaw was the very vivacious and gracious Easter Bunny! The Easter Egg Hunt was held in Hughes park on Saturday morning for the entire Newton Community. The park was divided into two parts, one for older children and one for the younger children. There was a huge amount of eggs with both goodies and money in them. The kids had a great time, and so did the adults.
