Newton Food Share
Newton Food Share is a non-profit organization that had its beginnings among our church members and the Texas Cooperative Extension several years ago. Many of our church members volunteer to ensure that families in our community have food in their pantries.
Handbell Choir
Many people have bragged about performing with our handbell choir. If you have never heard the melodious sounds of 37 bells ringing in harmony, you must really experience it firsthand.
Reach Out-Youth Ministry
Reach Out is an on-site worship service for children located at the Sartain apartments of the Newton Housing Authority. Food, fun, and a Bible lesson!
Backpack Ministry
Our church, in cooperation with the Southeast Texas Food Bank, provides weekend meals for children who may otherwise not eat except at school.
FUMC Choir
Our choir is the heart and soul of our church. Its members keep our worship service on track and full of "heavenly" music. Anne Bean is our choir director.
Nursery
Our nursery ministry is the face of tomorrow for our church. Our fearless, dedicated nursery worker, Mrs. Jessica Smith, nurtures children from birth through 4 years. We have a curriculum so that the nursery is not just a
