On Friday, August 17, 2006, The Newton Lions Club and the Newton Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Back-to-school luncheon for all staff of the Newton Independent School District. The food was prepared by the the ladies of the NABA and the Lions club and served in the Middle School cafeteria. This is one of those "Newton things" that shows how much we appreciate all of those who are involved in educating our children and youth. This is an important annual event! The pictures follow the chronological order.

Teaching must be fun. Barbara Westbrook receives her 40 years pin. That is correct... 40 years. She said that she would keep on teaching as long as it was fun... so it must be a lot of fun! Thank you Barbara for your service to Newton and our kids.
