Thanksgiving 2006

The Newton Food Share was in operation last Thanksgiving and Christmas. We supplied food to needy families so they could have a holiday dinner. This year, Burkeville United Methodist Church added something extra to our community efforts. They deep fried 100 turkeys and invited families to come pick them up along with bags of groceries at the Newton County fairgrounds.
